This independently owned practice is searching for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their vastly experienced, 8-Vet team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years prior experience while being a confident GP in terms of consults and surgery, beyond these individual interests can be supported via training, caseloads, CPD and even the funding of certificates. The practice does already have multiple certificate holders and they are always keen to add more!

The practice itself is brilliantly equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, dental x-ray, gastroscopy, arthroscopy & much more.

The rota consists of a 4-day working week which is made up of a mixture of either 8:30-5pm and 9-7pm shifts. You have the ability to hospitalise patients where needed which allows for a very high level of care while giving you the opportunity to see your own cases all the way through as much as possible.

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience; we can tell you from previous experience that they are really competitive in this area but if you want a specific idea of salary then Prospect Health are happy to discuss this prior to any official application if you want to get in touch. 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays, uncapped CPD allowance and professional memberships paid.

Key Duties

• 4-day working week
• 2 x 5pm finishes & 2 x 7pm finishes
• 1 in 3 Saturdays - 8-4pm
• 1 x inpatient duty per week
• 15-minute appointments

• Must be RCVS registered
• 3 years' experience minimum
