Reporting to the MW Director and as a member of the Leadership team, the Product Owner will align and deliver Colleague Technology needs in a constantly evolving technology landscape.
You'll support the delivery and strategy for modern working in line with both LBG's strategic technology direction and operational technology processes that protect and maintain service.
By identifying and delivering strategic end-to-end IT solutions and processes for the Group’s c70k colleagues that enable them to operate in a future Hybrid model, you’ll build collaborative, empowered teams, nurturing them to take ownership of the relevant outcomes that are in tune with the LBG's overall Future Ways of Working strategy.

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Chief Information Office (CIO), as the Modern Workplace (MW) Product Owner (PO).
Reporting to the MW Director and as a member of the Leadership team, you'll align and deliver Colleague Technology needs in a constantly evolving technology landscape. You'll also represent MW and all customers in providing a vision and clear direction/prioritisation with regards to the needs of the business. And you'll be accountable for maximising the value of the product and will also be accountable for effective Product Backlog management, which includes:
Developing and explicitly communicating the Product Goal;
Creating and clearly communicating Product Backlog items;
Ordering Product Backlog items; and,
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood

Your accountabilities will include;
Taking ownership of implementing the colleague needs strategy for the organisation
Building a committed team for your own area and holding overall responsibility for growing the capabilities of a large and diverse workforce through investment in own and others’ training and development
Taking ownership for fulfilling business plans for colleague technology by effectively leading a large team
Exploring how market and industry changes will influence and challenge what a modern workplace looks and feels like
Designing, developing the strategic plan and product development for Modern Workplace
You'll monitor and lead a wide range of activities of a significant team ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by collaborating closely with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of LBG's compliance policy
Developing and delivering LBG's risk management and/or control policies and procedures
Developing strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities
About you;
Experience in working in complex organisations
Knowledge of emerging technologies in the workplace space
Ability to tell cultural stories to drive technological change (a story teller not necessarily from a technical standpoint)
Strong ability to network across the whole organisation (not just tech)
Additionally you'll be able to evidence extensive experience of introducing new technology solutions in large-scale organisations to allow us to drive a bold approach to our Future Ways of Working. You'll have worked in a variety of roles either that evidence an ability to challenge and embed new ways of working whilst leading a can-do culture with a focus on curiosity, collaboration, learning and development. You'll also be at ease in working with challenging Executive level colleagues as well as leading and developing colleagues at all levels.
You'll be an innovative problem solver; encouraging relationships to enable external perspectives and new insights on “end-user computing†/ colleague technology and the associated processes and will also help to drive a culture of automation and data-driven decision making.
