The Modern Slavery Development Manager is a key leadership role within the Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery Unit (ATMSU). You will work with the Senior Management Team within the Unit and with other relevant Territorial Headquarters (THQ) units to explore and implement integrated Territorial approaches to support the work of the ATMSU

Your responsibilities will focus on the following areas:

• Lead and develop on new and innovative approaches and methodologies to support victims, survivors and people vulnerable to modern slavery and human trafficking
• Manage the unit’s training and continual professional development programme
• Develop, implement and be responsible for an ATMSU Impact Measurement system
• Leading on research priorities and frameworks
• Engage with local businesses and corporates to support the work of the unit.
• Play a steering role in the unit’s senior management team

You will have experience in project management, and may have a certified qualification, and have strong proven experience of successfully delivering projects.

You will have people management experience as you will have line management responsibility.

You will be a highly credible and professional manager, with proven excellent interpersonal, leadership, influencing and persuading skills.
