About this role
As a DR to the Desk Sales Manager of the Birmingham SME account management team this role is responsible for providing in-life customer support and straightforward cross-sell and upsell mobile opportunities.
This role is responsible for managing customer relationships from a desk-based environment, managing a range of customers usually around 50-60, with a revenue target of several million pounds.
Customer satisfaction is also a significant factor for your nominated clients, whether working with them singly from the desk, or as part of an overall account team.
You'll have the following responsibilities
•Responsible for delivering against revenue targets either on his/her own, or as part of virtual sales team within a customer base of private sector customers.
•Responsibility for outbound sales retention and new business opportunities, regular and consistent calling of customers and promotion of BT products and services.
•Work closely with Account Management teams to deliver opportunities for core BT product lines
•Accurately forecast business KPI’s to management teams
•Proactively manage churn risk for mobility products
•Identify opportunities to sell to new customers
•Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel approach.
•Is responsible for closing own contracts, as well as engaging with others to deliver customer requirements as necessary, eg: Account Management team, Contract Management team for managed accounts.
•Acts as the desk-based point of contact for the customer/partner for mobility developing long term customer relationships.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Skills required for the job
•Entry sales role that drives business growth for BT by closing contracts, either as part of an overall account team via recognised hand offs, or closing own contracts where acting as the single point of contact.
•Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via and multi-channel approach
•Responsible for delivering against own revenue targets as well as engaging with others/specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary.
Experience you would be expected to have
•Managing a range of clients of size typically 100-250 seats, up to £1m addressable spend.
•Familiarity with Desk-Based Account management approach
•Mobility industry and/or sales experience
Please note: this role requires the indicidual to be based in the office for 3 days a week and work remotely for the other 2.
