Job Description
Seeking a student who is studying/interested in the agriculture industry or has previous farm experience, or just wants to be outdoors and learn something different to help us out with milking and calf rearing over your 2nd semester period and could be a potential summer job if keen to continue.
A family run farm, milking 320 cows twice a day on 88ha, located just 15 mins north of Hamilton at Horsham Downs. Is flexible with work dates, to fit around your studies and currently employs a 4th year student who has been with us the last 3 years.
This is a drive in position.
It is essential that you have a license and access to a vehicle given the location of the job.
Milking times are 6:00am - 9am and 3:15pm - 5:30pm, with calf feeding after the morning milking.
