Overview

This role will take responsibility for several set-piece migration projects moving existing TalkTalk customers from copper to FTTP. As the ‘great copper switch-off’ takes hold, this role will be in the vanguard of stimulating customers to switch through a combination of policy, incentive and education, while ensuring optimal commercial results for TalkTalk.

This role will require a great mix of project management, creativity, stakeholder management and empathy as we hand-hold our customers to a better service at a time when customer awareness is low and cost of living challenges are real for UK households.

Team

You’ll hold a key role as a member of the FTTP Strategy Team, working closely with the Head of FTTP Customer Strategy, the wider trading team and supporting functions, and external suppliers to ensure that we can successfully evolve from a landscape that developed using copper-based technology to tomorrow’s exciting fibre future.

You’ll be working in an influential, highly committed and successful team to take TalkTalk to even greater success.

Role Expectations

This is a great opportunity for an experienced telecoms commercial manager to lead on a number of varied customer migration projects. The role requires (and will develop) deep product knowledge of the existing copper product set across TalkTalk Consumer and an understanding of the future connectivity landscape in the UK.

To be successful in the role, the migration manager will thrive in a fast-moving environment, be a confident problem solver and take ownership of commercial problems from setting requirements through to delivery and reporting. A commercial mindset is a must, as is stakeholder management and organisation.
