We are looking for experienced Metal Fabricator/ Welder to join their team.

The Role

The successful candidate is expected to do the following responsibilities:

• Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock.
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.
• Shaping and bending metal sections using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.
• Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.
• Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing is acidic solutions.
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in the manufacturing and Automotive is an added advantage
• High level of competency in Tig – Mig welding stainless steel, aluminium and steel.
• Proven experience as well as trade qualifications as metal fabricator/welder are essential.
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skill and attention to detail.
• An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• High level of safety orientation.

While local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 482/TSS visa sponsorship.
