Job Description

ABOUT YOU:
I am looking for a female studying or working in something along the lines of - psychology, social work, counselling, nursing, OT, health and wellbeing or have experience supporting people.
I am looking for someone to support me with my daily challenges I face and helping me with using my therapy skills in the community. 
You will need a full drivers licence as meeting points could be around town, on campus, my house or I may get you to drive us somewhere in my vehicle.

ABOUT ME:
I am an extremely capable 24 year old student who suffers from an eating disorder and seizure disorder. I study full time but only on campus tues, wed and thur.
I am currently building a solid community based team around me however I'm lacking support in some areas.
I love art, craft, donuts and a good cup of tea!

Jobs that may be included in this role are:
- Help grocery shopping and planning grocery shopping.
- Assistance in regulating emotions
- Meal support (eating a meal with me whilst on lunch break on campus)
- Preparing meals
- Assistance in appointments
- Travel around town (I have vehicle available for use)
- Therapy homework
- Seizure support and management 
- Help getting everyday tasks done that seem incredibly overwhelming to me
- Study assistance
- General wellbeing chats and updates
- Self care outings
- Sometimes just chilling with me if I can't manage anything more than that
- Doing art/craft/ hobbies at home 

You will not be going into this position blind. I have so much information about myself, document's and summaries, helpful skills and plans in place that I can share with you and also educate you on best supporting me. I also have a few professional supports that I am working alongside and other health professionals to assist you in assisting me!

Pay is fully negotiable to the right applicant. I have just put $20 down on this application as a blank starting point. Depending on person, travel, location ect.
Hours are also fully negotiable. Depending on the right fit of person and my schedule matching. Hours could be regular, casual, once a week, twice a week... I still haven't figured that out but but I will set this straight with the right individual taking on this role. I will talk with the individual about writing a full contract with expectations and length of support needed.
