About the clients

Our clients are based within Auckland (specifically North & north/west). You will work with a variety of clients which will include:

• Mental Health
• Addiction
• Children/youth
• Intellectual Disabilities
• Challenging behaviors

About the role

As a professional and qualified Support worker, you will be working in a very dynamic environment. Your duties will include the following:

• Provide social, physical and emotional support
• Accompany clients on occasional outdoor/indoor programs
• Supervised access when working with children/youth which occasionally involves transporting
• 1:1 Watches
• Dynamic working environment (Hospitals, facilities & residential)

About you

You are qualified for this role if you hold a level 4 or higher certificate in Mental health and Addiction support. A full driver’s licence will be a requirement, because you will be required to travel occasionally and transport clients where needed. Some of your personal attributes may also include:

• The ability to maintain an empathetic and non-judgmental approach
• Energetic and open to engage in physical activities with clients
• Have a passion to work with all age groups
