Your Responsibilities:

Your role will represent Novartis and promote its products to Medical Practitioners and allied health care professionals within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsibility for maximising sales of designated company products in the assigned territory, this will be achieved through full coverage of target customers
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations in order to change prescribing habits in line with appropriate use of products
• Consistent with customer expectations of quality of service and personal interaction
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, company developments, customers, and competitors
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all territory reports, maintenance of territory records, handling of enquiries and complaints quickly and professionally and in accordance with company procedures
• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives
• Ensure the prompt reporting of adverse events to the CS&E department in accordance with company procedures

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

• Tertiary qualifications in related field / para medical background will be great to have
• Passionate and enthusiastic rookie or a pharmaceutical industry professional keen to change career directions
• Excellent communication and partnering skills will be essential to have, with the ability to impart knowledge to others
• An analytical thinker, you can devise a territory strategy based on the big picture, then break that down into short-term goals and actions
• You will come with a positive mind set, and demonstrated experience working successfully as a team player
