As the position is based within the Prince of Wales Private hospital you will be working with both inpatients and outpatients on a daily basis. Ideally you will have a bright nature and will be comfortable in a busy demanding role where you will achieve job satisfaction.

You will join the team on a casual basis with regularly rostered shifts between the core hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Potential travel to our Camperdown or Bondi Clinics

The team is a mix of clinical and clerical employees and are friendly & welcoming. They often mix socially, so would suit a professional looking for a team who like spending time with each other and take pride in their work.

Reporting to the Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high level reception duties and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and other customers.

**The successful candidate will undergo a 4-week training program when starting in the role**

Key accountabilities include:

  • Driving the delivery of high quality reception and contact centre services
  • Managing appointments to maximise customer service and clinic efficiency
  • Providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

Key selection criteria:

  • Previous medical receptionist is essential, Radiology background is desirable
  • Ability to manage high volume, inbound calls
  • Experienced at multitasking and prioritising workload
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
