Eurobodalla

The NSW Government has announced $260 million to build a sustainable, modern and purpose-built hospital to support the needs of the entire Eurobodalla Shire from Narooma to Batemans Bay to service the ever-growing coastal population.

What you'll be doing

The role of Career Medical Officer is to provide high quality and safe clinical care to patients across the hospital setting.

Selection Criteria * Evidence of Medical Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Experience working as a single Practitioner in charge of hospital for at least 12 months at the level of PGY 4 and above.

Demonstrated high level of communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously as a team member.

Demonstrated evidence concerning continuing medical education.

Commitment to participate in an equitable medical roster, including evenings and weekend shifts.

This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive . All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
