MEDICAL MULTICHANNEL MANAGER
UK and Ireland
What are key highlights of this role?
Ensure the development of the multichannel strategy aimed at healthcare professionals, the implementation and management of brands’ detailing methods through the various identified channels below.
Support each brand visibility among healthcare professionals and customers through sharing of science via digital channels in collaboration with key opinion leaders and medical influencers on social platforms.
Ensure the consistency in medical communication throughout all the channels and in agreement with marketing, PR, and Digital communications’ teams.
Work together with the medical visit teams, medical relations, medical communications, the training, digital teams and IT as well as with external agencies.
Ensure that both internal and external ethical norms are respected concerning relations with health professionals.
Define the multichannel strategy in line with the brand medical strategy covering detailing, medical relations and communications targeting all health professionals.
•Identify the on- and off-line communication channels that suit each target and adapt communications to fit doctor’s needs.
•Work closely with marketing team to remap the decision making in communication to healthcare professionals by brand categories.
•Participate in the Paid/Owned strategy for digital platforms and in digital excellence (tagging, Search Engine Optimization…).
Implement and pilot digital tools (website, e-detailing and CRM tools…) for the division and the brands
•Develop the division’s and brand’s digital medical pole
•Lead all multichannel and/or digital innovation projects (websites, newsletters, webcasts, social media, and newsletters.
•Integrate and format digital content for the CRM tool (newsletters, professional site contents, webinars, symposia, congresses, ad hoc services…)
•Build, drive and manage an editorial agenda for content and services (online and offline, produced locally or by the DMI) adapted to different medical targets, and multichannel campaigns, for all brands and aimed at the medical team.
•Coordinate and make sure that the contents and the cycle plans are coherent
•Work closely with medical communications team on the implementation of medical contents for the different channels throughout the year.
Monitor and analyze the tools’ performance
•Define and monitor the performance indicators for each channel (reach, commitment versus face-to-face contact and contact frequency)
•Make suggestions to optimize the return on investment and increase the level of prescriptions and recommendations
•Propose how to improve the tools
•Take responsibility for competitor and digital monitoring especially regarding digital medical trends.
Monitor and analyze the medical team performance
•Define and monitor the performance via Veeva MCCP
•share and communicate team’s performance every cycle
•work closely with medical Communication team on the medical aids’ performance vs calls
Preferred qualifications

•Experience preferably within a fast-paced consumer driven business / pharma environment
•Educated with a degree in life science /marketing
•Scientific & Health Care knowledge – capacity to understand and translate scientific/medical language & healthcare systems in UK and Ireland
•Digital orientation – experience with digital communication campaigns including strategy, CRM and GDPR
•Vision – able to create and develop a strategy, taking the lead on motivating the wider business
•Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation skills, able to influence and inspire any audience
•Know how to manage the complexity in terms of number stakeholders, projects, timelines and clarity of message
•Resilience and flexibility – the ability to adapt to dynamic business and market demands, overcoming challenges and driving success in an innovate way
•Strong analytical skills including advanced competency with CRM, excel and Google Analytics
•Advantage: have experience in managing Veeva CRM tools and extract reports
• Confidence in the use of Excel and PowerPoint and adept at using I-pad and ‘Teams’ platform.
Organized: You love a list and have strong planning and organisation skills – with the ability to re-prioritize as required.
