Reporting into: Media Planner & Buyer/ Head of MediaThe CompanyAn exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Media/Marketing Campaign Planner with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, to join this highly successful global Student Specialist Marketing agency based in Sussex. 

There is flexibility for this role to be fully remote working depending on the individual’s circumstances.Purpose of the RoleThe Media Campaign Planner is a key member of the Media Activation and Performance team, their role is to create content- driven creative campaigns plans and be responsible for all aspects of campaign success. 

From helping to build an effective brief to meeting complex requirements. To building multi- channel, content – driven campaigns, through to full- funnel conversation planning.

Client Partnership:Seen as an extension of the clients team, fostering new relationships with clients and identifying growth opportunities in advertising/Creative/Conversion Help the client write strong briefs ( e.g. specific objectives)Responsible for maintaining contact with clients for future campaigns Creating engaging strategy decks Audience Management/Strategy Liaising with performance team to find new audiences and channels.

Demonstrate audience understanding e.g. current and target markets.Understand the competitive landscape and evaluate target audiences.

Campaigns Creation of data- led brand and performance campaign plans.Day to day planning, management and reporting on all campaigns. This includes reporting on key statistics as well as providing further insight and analysis to our clients.

Write clear, simple but inspiring and motivating briefs for creative teams.

Talk through the performance at the end of the campaign and provide recommendations and requirements. Skills Required A background in Advertising/Marketing is essentialPrevious experience within Project Management/ Account Management/Research/Digital Marketing/Advertising campaigns is highly beneficial Creative background is essential.Able to demonstrate excellent written skills Digital platform understanding i.e. Google, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok Experienced and confident in front of clients, you will need to collaborate, challenge and present ) sometime complex) proposals with a clear and concise approachAble to demonstrate a detailed and strategic approach. 

Collaborative and proactive Maintain knowledge of the advertising sector to stay on top of digital/platform development Be the eyes and ears of the agency, sharing and promoting new ideas, inspiring campaigns, insights and thought- provoking ways of thinking to wider team. 

Technology first mind set – an analytical thinker, able to take a variety of different data points and compile them into compelling strategies and plans
