The Customer Engagement Team has a career-building opportunity for a Media Asset Manager to join on a permanent basis. As the Media Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the collation and upload process of content onto the Customer Engagement tools. This role will report to the Customer Engagement Manager and support the evolution of our global asset management system, evaluating potential product consolidation to deliver a simplified user experience.

The Customer Engagement teams purpose is to connect our customers to our Bold, British Creative content in the most efficient and effective way. Part of the Brands & Marketing division, the team utilises a strong product and data focus. Partnering with the Technology to translate business requirements in order to drive constant improvements to ways of working.

Role Responsibility

Manage the upload process for content information and assets onto Customer Engagement tools, products, and services.

Support Content Planning Manager in managing content planning processes and liaising with teams throughout the business, maintaining content asset tracker with all available assets in the pipeline.

Liaise with Sales, Production, and Marketing to align calendar plans and responsible for managing CMS (content management system) to build out bespoke pages for digital trade events.

Management of asset QC process prior to uploading and assigning freelancers where required and act as the key point of contact with BBC Public Service and creative on active campaigns, and collating the makelist.

Provide core product support for Customer Engagement tools, working on enhancements and training when required.

Proactively design and implement optimised business processes across teams relating to asset management and support evaluation of products, for enhancement and potential consolidation.

You will need experience and familiarity with the types of promotional and marketing assets used by a large media companyIdeally previous experience in managing asset management systems.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work at pace, and manage several projects simultaneously; Ability to take your own initiative to maintain project momentum.

You will be a skilled communicator, able to adapt your style to suit the audience. Competent at delivering technical and non-technical information effectively. Adaptable, able to respond flexibly to new challenges, and keen to seek out new ways of doing things.
