Job Description:

  • Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by taking orders from inventory, providing production materials and supplies as needed, and arranging delivery of the final product.
  • Contribute to the proper functioning of material and/or inventory storage areas.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording inventory locations, and reporting shortages.
  • Locate materials and supplies by tracing and verifying materials and supplies listed in production orders.
  • Maintain a constant inventory at work centers by delivering and unpacking materials and supplies. Locate and pack materials for shipping.
  • Documents, records, documents assigned by the unit and the location of the unit.
  • Receive production credits for returning raw materials and supplies verifying materials and supplies, batch numbers, and quantities.
  • Prepare stock of finished goods for shipping by identifying, pulling, packing, cartoning, stowing, and securing products.
  • Product shipping documents issued by shipping records. Maintain material handling equipment by performing pre-use checks and operator repairs.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and docks.
  • Keep inventory, loading areas and machinery clean.
  • Open containers, categorize and catalog documents.
  • Know and respect workplace safety rules.
  • Load and unload inventory from yards, delivery trucks, storage areas and production areas.
  • Ensure that all incoming deliveries match company orders.
  • Store goods in designated locations using cargo boards and pallets.
  • Analyze coupons based on customer orders and get the right product for each order.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification is a plus.
  • Great physical shape with lift capacity up to 100 lbs.
  • Willing to work overtime, including weekends, holidays and evenings. Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
