  • HEO7 - TRP $105,603 - $116,170 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation

About the position

The Marketing Sales and Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for building strong relationships on behalf of the University in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high quality domestic and international applications throughout Australia.

This will encompass developing new and managing existing relationships with secondary schools, partner organisations, and prospective students. It will also lead a range of student recruitment initiatives and projects as well as driving key strategic priorities.

The position has ownership of a key strategic portfolio area. Sales and Customer Experience is responsible for implementing an acquisition and conversion strategy on behalf of the University in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high quality applications. This includes management of course enquiries, business development, facilitation of direct admissions and alternative entry schemes and the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment across Australia.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business or communications, with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience in marketing and sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and/or sales, including tactical planning and implementation of organisational strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and build relationship with stakeholders and customers such as senior academic staff, potential undergraduate students, and external providers.
  • Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage several different projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to a positive team culture, achieving targets and working collaboratively across an organisation.
  • Work effectively across the business unit to support positive recruitment outcomes for domestic and international applicants.
  • Experience with Australian Higher Education system is preferred but not mandatory
