Who would I be working for?
You’ll be working for the UK’s first sustainable takeaway – a female-founded subscription-based service delivering plant-based, restaurant-quality meals in a closed-loop system. They’re on a mission to deliver curries that don’t come at the cost of the planet.
What’s the role?
As Marketing Manager, you’ll use your strategic thinking and creative flair to implement the marketing strategy to create brand awareness and help scale the business.
What do I need to be able to do?
- Brainstorm content ideas which achieve the company vision, and organise and manage all campaigns across social media, press, and ads.
- Set clear targets and monitor progress of campaigns to see what works and what doesn’t and feed these into performance reports.
- Evaluate current marketing strategies and develop pragmatic solutions, being mindful of budgets and the target market.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with media, publishers, and influencers to work collaboratively in promotional activities.
- Work with customer service teams to maximise sign ups in new postcodes and improve customer retention by developing incentives for existing customers.
And who do I need to be?
- Someone with a strong background in a marketing lead or similar role, from a consumer and/or start-up background (from a food based background would be an added bonus!)
- You’ll be highly organised with excellent time management skills, alongside excellent communication and creativity.
- You’re not a stranger to a challenge, and love getting stuck in and doing what needs to be done.
- Have a strong understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods with a familiarity with social media and web analytics.
- You will have knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
