About this role

This is an important role in the Brand and Demand Generation team and focus on our recently launched Division X segment. A future facing hub that creates solutions to transform the way our customers work and grow their business using the latest innovations in 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), Edge and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Division X includes Media and Broadcast, One Phone, Street, Voice Services and Directory businesses, as well as our specialist solutions areas: Messaging, Field Force Automation, Cargo Community Systems, Redcare and Drones.

Your role be to run a small but effective team of 3 to deliver full end-to-end marketing service to 9 of these business areas (Voice Services, Street, Messaging, Drones, Redcare, IoT, Phone Book, Cargo Community Systems and Field Force Automation). 

You'll deliver marketing support for 9 key BT services, some of which have been around for generations, others of which will become part of the Group’s future growth. Managing an innovative and dynamic team with growing investment from the business to deliver end-to-end Marketing support for these services.

 

You'll have the following responsibilities

Monitor day to day projects and activities with suppliers, agencies and internal teams to ensure successful execution of major marketing programmes.

Own and delivers communications and/or campaign programmes within their area, collaborating with other teams and using segmentation and insight to contribute to achievement of financial results.

Manage a team to implement the Marketing plan for the area, including allocating responsibilities and implementing business improvements.

Work across the team to execute marketing plans within own area to meet financial targets and measures, identifying areas for growth across channels to market.

Gather and acts on consumer and customer insights and develops and assists with the execution of bespoke and innovative customer offers.

 

You'll have the following skills & experience

Skills:

Campaign Planning - You use insights to develop creative campaigns which bring our brands to life. You review and report on campaign impact and effectiveness.

Customer Insight - You build and apply deep knowledge of our customers, their context and preferences. You analyse and evaluate data to identify and maximise sales opportunities and generate recommendations.

Marketing Communications - You develop multi-channel marketing communications to maximise engagement. You make sure our messaging is consistent and well written. You review and report on the impact and effectiveness of our communications.

People Engagement – Excellent stakeholder management skills, team and agency management experience.

Product and service knowledge - You demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex products and services. You partner with other areas of the business and other organisations to develop understanding of new technologies and how they're used.

Experience:

Experience of managing marketing campaigns – ideally encompassing Content, Events, Digital, BTL, PR.

Experience of agency and team management.

Managed budget and showcased ROI.

Led a plan to drive incremental growth in sales or leads driven by marketing.

Regular interactions with senior stakeholders.

Experience of working in a commercial fast-moving environment.

B2B marketing experience – preferable.
