 Marketing Manager 

THE ROLE:

The  Marketing Manager will develop Lenovo/Microsoft (Partner) /AMD co-marketing strategies, priorities and implement marketing programs that impact AMD’s and Partner marketing and sales goals. The marketing manager will build, deepen, and broaden relationships with key marketing, alliance, and product partners within these two partners.

The person:

The candidate will need to be prepared to jump in, take the lead and learn quickly. The candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, navigate thru complex situations with strong problem-solving skills and is highly organized and have interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning process with key internal stakeholders and Partner on global co-marketing programs
  • Develop co-marketing funds guidelines and program terms in collaboration with key leadership, internal stakeholders, and Partner
  • Communicate top-down strategies and guidelines to regional marketing and sales organizations and own review process to ensure plans align back to priority
  • Align AMD planning cycles with Partner timelines to drive AMD brand and value proposition integration within Partner led content and consumer marketing engine
  • Work and collaborate in lockstep with both Global Account Management teams and regional teams to drive priorities and manage communication back to global teams at Partner
  • Be the primary interface representing the Partner within AMD’s internal marketing forums and be the primary marketing interface directly with Partner
  • Ensure that Partner is represented in AMD’s marketing efforts (product launches, website, etc.) and lead execution of launch activities of key platforms
  • Be knowledgeable about the dynamics of the partners organization to understand their goals, problems and opportunities to better improve AMD’s marketing efficiency & integration within partner campaigns
  • Ensure timely and relevant communications about AMD products and other updates to the Partner marketing, Alliances, and product contacts
  • Work with AMD’s teams and with partners to measure efficiency of programs and be able to apply lessons for future programs
  • Represent and deliver AMD’s WW marketing strategy & story to Partner

Preferred experience:

  • Strong experience in partner marketing management and leading go-to market co-marketing activations
  • A strong and in depth understanding of OEM/partner marketing and sales structure and their ways of operations
  • Strong background in marketing fundamentals (Budget and contract management experience)
  • Experience in a customer facing or account management role
  • Self-motivated and prepared to jump in and lead
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and storytelling ability in presentation formats and verbally
  • A consistent track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget
  • Ability to meet challenging timelines
  • Continuous improvement approach
  • Detailed understanding of current marketing strategies, digital platforms, and trends
  • Experience utilizing market research and market data to develop marketing strategies and programs
  • Creative problem solving and accountability
  • Sharp, responsible, and highly organized
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks optimally and meets deadlines in a timely manner

Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
