Marketing Manager, Software Defined Infrastructure Solutions 

 

The Position:

AMD is currently looking for a Marketing Manager, Software Defined Infrastructure Solutions. This role is essential to AMD datacenter initiatives and includes developing business plans, compelling collateral, sales presentations, and sales plays.

 

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of virtualization and hyper-converged markets with a clear perspective on customer needs, application profiles, competitive strengths, weaknesses, and technology/use case trends. Your leadership will be significant in working to orchestrate the implementation of GTM plans through various cross-functional AMD teams as well as OEM, Channel, ISV and IHV partners

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement business plans across AMD, OEM’s, ISV’s and Channel partners - driving AMD EPYC share in the SDI segment.
  • Develop and complete GTM plays using the strengths of AMD Sales and Marketing, FAEs, OEM partners, and VARs to accelerate success.
  • Develop compelling collateral, sales presentations and customer facing sales tools.
  • Increase sales efficiency by guiding AMD BDEs, FAE’s and ecosystem partners the AMD value proposition and how to sell SDI solutions.
  • Conduct sales training sessions for AMD, OEM and channel partners
  • Attend and support SDI industry events

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven years of success in comparable roles, developing strong customer relationships which have led to sales success.
  • Validated experience in bringing SDI solutions to market.
  • Technical experience and business savvy
  • Ability to influence and project-manage global, cross-functional teams.
  • Executive presentations to multiple partners: customers, analysts, technical specialists and business leaders.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field. MBA a plus.
