All our new suppliers now operate under the ETI’s guidelines. We are also a member of The UK’s Plastics Pact, an initiative looking to transform the plastic packaging industry in the UK. As part of the initiative, we have committed, along with other ambitious targets, to eliminate unnecessary single-use plastic completely by 2025. We have also made a commitment to our employees – we’re recognised as an accredited Living Wage employer by the Living Wage Foundation. Joining an elite group of FTSE 100 companies and public sector organisations.

 

Here at apetito, we take our duty to give back to our local communities and chosen charities very seriously. In 2016, we set up a charity partnership with causes close to many of our team’s hearts: Wiltshire’s Alzheimer’s Support and Alzheimer’s Society. We’ve undertaken many activities to raise funds and support the charities raising an astonishing £128,000 in the space of just 4 years! We also support our communities through the apetito Staff Foundation, which gives financial support to the chosen charitable causes of our staff and their children. Since 2005, we’ve raised over £200,000 for these charities.

Responsibilities

 

Integrated Brand Awareness and Lead Generation Campaigns

  • Create and implement integrated marketing communications strategies and plans that achieve our ambitious growth targets within the Nurseries and Independent Schools marketplaces
  • Strategic leadership of digital and social media B2B paid advertising and organic campaigns
  • Collaboration with the central Marketing team on digital marketing and development initiatives
  • Work closely with key internal departments and external agencies to deliver consistent messaging and marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Work hand in hand with PR team to maintain a high level of national coverage that enhances our key messaging and market position
  • Regular reporting on campaign performance and marketing activity to ensure effectiveness is measured.

Development of Marketing Materials and Sales Aids

  • Development and ongoing evolution of insight-driven propositions for each education sector
  • Creation of marketing materials – ensuring conformance to corporate identity and branding
  • Collaborative development of acquisition and retention sales materials/aids

Management of Event Presence and Industry Partnerships

  • Design, co-ordination and organisation of national and local exhibition and events programmes
  • Management of key industry partner relationships

Other

  • Creation and development of the marketing sub-team within the Education business unit
  • Planning and budgeting to ensure projects generate actionable results and show a tangible ROI
  • Confident in analysis and interpretation of market data to drive insight driven decisions
  • Involvement in company-wide initiatives, events & project groups

 

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to create and execute strategies across multiple B2B education sub-sectors at pace using evidence and insight sourced internally and externally
  • Educated to at least degree level and experienced with at least three years in marketing including digital and social media campaigns
  • Commercially minded and results-driven and understanding of the importance of reporting on performance and ROI
  • Experience co-ordinating and delivering exhibition presence
  • A collaborative team-player developing high performing relationships across Sales, Marketing and external agency teams
  • A creative thinker, idea generator and someone who is comfortable sharing ideas to continually innovate
  • To have a partnering mind-set and the ability to quickly build rapport and effective relationships
  • Resilience – able to work under pressure, at pace with the ability to adapt to change
  • Confidence to present to and constructively challenge senior stakeholders where needed
