In this broad exciting role you will be responsible for management and development of ‘marketing science’ capabilities for the Aviva Group – leading the delivery of analytics and marketing effectiveness projects with an hands-on approach and through supervision of a team of econometricians.
You will take the position of a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within marketing solving marketing challenges by diagnosing problems and crafting and executing analytics solution all the way to experimentation frameworks to optimize marketing efficiency.
Alongside project work, the role supports agency strategists and media planners by providing analytical decision support for day-to-day marketing planning and optimization.
Building and maintaining marketing effectiveness analytics tools solutions, interactive dashboards, and process automation required to build outstanding internal econometrics capability
Identify, scope, propose and own the Marketing Analytics project delivery to ensure all fundamental questions are correctly addressed through analytics deliverables.
Own the diagnosis of marketing challenges and the translation into analytics solutions, including writing proposals to pitch to Marketing senior stakeholders
Manage a team of econometrics analysts with hands-on approach in day to day analytics development to deliver best in class analysis and grow capabilities
Proven experience at using advanced analytics techniques and econometrics modelling in the marketing science domain (e.g. marketing mix modelling; multi touch attribution; scenario planning tools)
Coding fluency in R or similar language for use in data and econometrics work is preferred (the role is hands-on with data and modelling)
AB Testing and Multivariate testing applied experience
Excellent understanding of statistics and econometric, the ability to interpret these with confidence and drive through your recommendations
Proficient in communicating complex data led insights in a simple way
