Coriander's premiere ethnic Indian restaurants are in 4 locations across Christchurch & Canterbury with a 5th Restaurant opening soon and a 6th in the pipeline. As our business expands, so does our team.

We are currently seeking an experienced marketing coordinator to work alongside and report to the Business Development Manager in promoting and advertising the restaurant brand. Coriander’s attribute much of their success to the strength of marketing and promotion of quality ethnic Indian cuisine. From day one, this individual will contribute to the existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the company goals. This will include developing promotional flyers, social media analysing, direct email marketing, cold calling upon local businesses.  You will be involved in stargazing our forthcoming marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have prior experience or working towards a qualification in Marketing with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media.

The position of marketing coordinator will be very exciting and rewarding, where no 2 days are ever the same and therefore the suitable candidate must be an organized multitasker and able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Objectives of this Role

• Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the company's brand strategy. 
• Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
• Prepare marketing activity reports for measuring program success
• Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends
