About the Team
The Brand & Acquisition team puts the customer at the heart of the business and use that to drive the way we talk, act and feel to customers both new and existing. We’re a friendly and energetic team, extremely committed and passionate about doing right by our customers and our business, and you’ll work with everyone across the business to make it happen.
A team of 10, we’re responsible for sponsorships, partnerships, acquisition marketing, brand strategy, positioning and launch to market planning across our consumer business.
About the Role
Joining the Brand & Acquisition team, the Marketing Assistant will work across all aspects of the department. They are crucial in supporting the team across all workstreams to deliver our objectives of enhancing the TalkTalk brand reputation and driving new customer sales.
From running some of our always on partnership activity to delivery of our big above the line campaigns to supporting internal communications you’ll get stuck into everything from day one.
We want hands-on and results driven people who are comfortable with change and with working at a fast pace in an incredibly flat structure. We don’t just welcome people to take ownership of their area – we encourage it, whatever their level.
The role will report into the Senior Brand Manager and support delivery of the Consumer Marketing objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
Working with the Marketing Team and appointed agencies support the planning, delivery and execution of marketing campaigns and external communications. Experience across TV production, radio, press, online video, OOH, social and display preferable
Ownership of the Internet Matters partnership to drive traffic to their website.
Ownership of the day to day delivery of activity with our key sponsors
Manage key meetings invites, agendas and reporting and monitoring of actions
Regular review of the competitor, industry and market insights to share back to the team
Support internal comms initiatives with brand assets
Work closely with third party creative and media agencies to deliver campaign objectives
Stakeholder management across the business
Brand guardianship across key product and proposition lines, ensuring a consistent customer facing experience
Support with general administration for the team
Additional support you’ll receive:
Full onboarding into all things TalkTalk, category specific experience not required
Full funnel marketing strategy experience as you progress your marketing career
Exposure to both brand and acquisition workstreams delivering to different metrics.
