An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant (Product and Projects) has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This role is a 24 month fixed term contract.
As a Marketing Assistant (Product and Projects), you will engage with multiple domestic and international stakeholders in order to support the scoping and delivery of multiple new and on-going projects, including a key ALDI transformation project.
What we are looking for:
With demonstrated experience in marketing, eCommerce and/or project management, the successful candidate will be able to develop, drive and implement project initiatives within tight deadlines. With a high level of communication skills, you will be able to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders and have the capacity to educate and inform others on designated products, project initiatives and processes.
Selection criteria:
- 3+ years’ experience in a marketing, projects or eCommerce Assistant role
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or similar field
- Prior experience in project management and implementation
- Demonstrated experience in FMCG/Retail industry highly regarded
- Proven experience using a range of agile project management methods desirable
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of local and international retail landscape
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst managing multiple tasks
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Role responsibilities:
- Liaise with national and global stakeholders to support the scoping and delivery of marketing projects, including a key ALDI transformation project
- Provide a local perspective on an international roadmap of solutions and technology initiatives
- Deliver training and ongoing expertise to stakeholders regarding designated products and projects
- Assist the projects team to complete tasks and implement project plans
- Aid the team in managing the delivery of products and projects, using the appropriate agile project management methodology
- Work with product owners to help define the roadmap for products, translating into user stories
- Help define processes and procedures that will be supported by technological advancements that will improve store operations and procedures as well as customer outcomes
- Support with UAT / Quality management, User Experience (UX) and testing for local configuration
