Motor Yacht Service Centre is a unique, full spectrum, service centre for Luxury Motor Yachts based in Hobsonville, Auckland. We create custom and bespoke additions to our owners boats, like none of our competitors. From boatbuilding to complex electronics installations, we do it all. The Luxury Motor Yachts in our fleet are highly automated and are packed full of electronics. They are a significant asset and only perfection in workmanship will be sufficient.

WHAT WE NEED!

We are looking for a fully qualified marine electrician to join our team of 11, based in Hobsonville.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Your Core Business Will Be:

• Working closely with our Electronics Engineer
• Installing new, high-end electronics and automation packages
• Diagnosing system faults
• Replacing faulty equipment
• Helping get the job done - no matter how small or big of a job

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW We are an extremely busy Motor Yacht Service Centre and need qualified team members. Because you will be working on some of New Zealand's most luxurious vessels, we need a person that has pride in their appearance, is punctual and well mannered. You need to be motivated and work well with others. Well spoken and written English is a must. You will also need a full, current, drivers licence as you may be required to work on vessels at marina's around Auckland. You need to have prior knowledge in all marine systems and electronics, and an interest in boats would be an advantage. Previous electrical work on boats would be a must.
