Job Description Marine Coordinator

Our client is one of the largest International Energy Companies and are currently seeking a Marine Coordinator to join their Wellington team to assist with the operations of their multi terminal operation.

You'll be a key part of the operations team to ensure the terminals can run efficiently, reliably, safely and cost effectively.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Based at the Kaiwharawhara Terminal you will be the go-to overseeing all marine operations including tanker unloading and bunkering
• Responsible for other Terminal related operations such as tank level and product monitoring and general housekeeping.
• Issue permits under the work control procedures and tier one best practices
• Utilize LPS Tools and drive increased effectiveness
• Oversight over other staff during Marine Operations

We're ideally seeking for the following attributes:

• Completed Shore Officer training
• Strong understanding of Terminal Operations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High standard of Health and Safety and promote a work safe culture
• Good Mechanical aptitude and the ability to adhere to systems and processes
• Works well in a team environment
