The primary responsibilities of this role are to develop and manage a newly formed manufacturing planning and control team. Working alongside senior team members, you will contribute to the creation and delivery of the manufacturing supply chain strategy.

With a focus on end to end planning cycle, the successful candidate will act as a technical/strategic and cultural lead for the department focusing on process improvement and performance of the manufacturing supply chain. This includes the development of new tools, processes and responsibility to define KPI’s.

The Role

• Lead, support and develop a team of MRP controllers
• Develop and manage KPI’s; provide deep dive analysis of red and yellow KPIs and facilitates resolution and management of action plans
• Collaborate with the programmes teams to ensure accurate customer commitments
• Drive a culture of Planning and best practices:
• Collaborate with the supply chain manufacturing teams to ensure consistent end to end planning
• Maintain MPS in SAP for finished items in line with production plan

What we’re looking for

• Educated to degree level or APICS CPIM certification or equivalent desired
• Supply chain management experience with strong understanding of supply chain principles
• Previous experience of using SAP (SD/PP/MM)
• Proven results with building strong working relationships within a team/ teams
• Strong organisational skills with demonstrable evidence of prioritisation to business needs
• Strong analytical and decision making skills
