Duties
The Manager, Workforce Strategy and Culture is responsible for driving the development of a Departmental workforce strategy and associated organisational culture to deliver on the strategy. The role is responsible for providing high level of leadership, workforce insights and strategic direction through well maintained and accurate data, analytics, trend analysis and benchmarking across the sector.
The Manager, Workforce Strategy and Culture will proactively support the implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies and mental health and wellbeing initiatives, whilst building organisation commitment to developing a culture that attracts, develops and retains the best talent in an environment where all employees thrive.
Stakeholder engagement and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills will be crucial along with proven leadership ability to inspire others. The role will work closely with the People, Culture and Capability leadership team whilst engaging with Executives and Senior Managers across all Divisions to establish and implement workforce planning aligned to the future direction and strategic goals of the Department.
Special Conditions
This role is classified as a position of trust and will be subjected to a satisfactory criminal history record check in line with departmental policies and procedures.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel, may be required.
Requirements
An appropriate tertiary qualification including post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or relevant experience in such discipline areas is desired.
Remuneration
MAS3 - $122,274 per annum
