Covering an internal secondment, as the Manager Planning and Reporting, you will plan, lead, execute and finalise projects according to scope, time and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of your team and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver on a variety of projects and services.   

The role also includes:

• Leading and modelling a strong collaborative work approach and internal culture
• Leading the team in providing quality planning and meaningful reporting to our customers (internal & external), and assurance support for programme delivery  
• Stakeholder Engagement – working with key stakeholders (internal & external) to understand planning & reporting needs including defining project scope, goals and deliverables
• Project resourcing - determining resources needed to achieve goals
• Identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting on project risks and issues and associated controls or mitigation
• Proactively developing and maintaining effective relationships and networks with a diverse audience.

Skills & Experience

The ideal person for this role will have 5+ years' experience taking the lead in a Planning & Reporting context. This may include leading projects and/or a team of Planning & Reporting specialists. Experience leading large-scale projects including proven experience of end-to-end project management, from initiation through to handover and closure would be advantageous.

You will also have:

• Proven experience as a people leader ideally in a project delivery or planning and reporting environment 
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in business change management methodologies, project and change management methodologies, performance measures methodologies, processes and tools
• Solid understanding of the end to end data analytics process
• Experience running a planning and reporting function
• Exceptional in stakeholder management and driving vendors towards agreed delivery targets
• Health and / or Science background with a possibility of insight into a government environment
