Job Description

Amazon is seeking a customer obsessed leader to join our team as a Manager, Product & Customer Insights, based in London, UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team delivering data-driven insights, partnering with business leaders across the org. Our team continuously inspects, measures, and drives improvements to Amazon’s customer experience, including price, selection and delivery experience. You will present recommendations and drive changes having strategic impact.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to think strategically, and work backward from the optimal customer experience. You will have extensive experience delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. You will excel at working cross-functionally, sharing and implementing best practices across the broader organization.

You will hire, coach and develop talents across multiple job families. A successful candidate will demonstrate high standards and establish a high performance bar. You will create an inclusive and engaging work environment, balancing business needs with individual development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Build scalable solutions to continuously measure and drive improvements to Amazon's customer experience.
· Align with stakeholders on scope and priorities.
· Drive continuous improvement, including defining standard operating procedures, process improvements, and automation.
· Develop new capabilities, working backward from our customer needs.
· Hire, on-board and develop team members.
· Work-cross functionally with peers/colleagues globally on shared opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· At least 7 years of experience or master’s degree and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· People management experience
· Experience in an international work environment in areas such as management consulting, product management, internet, technology, retail, consumer goods or research firms

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent business acumen
· Strong communicator with experience in facilitation across all levels; skilled at addressing both large and small audiences across multiple leadership levels and functions
· Excellent English writing skills; able to produce and finalize complex documents
· Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) preferred
