Our client is a New Zealand-based food manufacturer who produces a large amount of the countrys favourite products such as spaghetti, frozen vegetables and NZ's most iconic tomato sauce and so much more. Due to our Client's current volume, we are looking for committed and reliable Machine Operators to join our team in Hastings. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge in the manufacturing industry whilst working for a reputable NZ Company

Night shift hours - 22:00 to 6:00

• Pay starts at $22.50 ph and increases to $25.00 ph once training is complete!
• $250 extra after 4 weeks continuous service and again after 6 months continuous service for night shift 22:00 to 6:00

Our Machine Operators play an important role to ensure the production lines run smoothly!

• Develop and maintain accurate written records
• Records the can codes from the top layer of the pallet
• Records the time it was loaded to the line
• Communicating with the team and engineers about breakdowns
• Records downtime on the timesheet (breakdown, breaks)

About you! We are looking for someone with the following skills…

• Good numeracy and literacy skills to manage and operate machines for production
• Basic computer and data entry skills to update and change information as required
• Ability to follow health and safety processes within in a work environment.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring quality products are being made
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to ensure vital information is relayed to a large team.
• Previous experiencedesired bt a keen willingness to learn and an interest in production work will be considered
