Our client is in the professional services industry sector is searching for an M& A Consultant for a 3 month contract to support a company acquisition. You will be primarily responsible for the following:
* Support, coordinate and gather data for pre-acquisition due diligence as directed by the CFO
* Sort through all the financial data on hand and pull data from the lists that are prepared
* Undertake the work that supports due diligence process which the CFO would normally do but would delegate to Finance Consultant
* Review risk and financial assessment of value of acquisition
The ideal candidate is a designated accountant with 10+ years of progressive finance & accounting experience along with proven M& A experience. You also have the following key criteria for the contract role:
* Experience working in an operational environment with financial metrics
* Financial modeling experience and compiling market data would be beneficial
* Ability to evaluate processes and develop recommendations for improvements
* Maturity and able to deal with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confident in talking to different stakeholders
* Flexible and able to jump on issues and shifting priorities
