About the role and who we are looking for:

We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember!  We are looking to build our team in our Air NZ Christchurch Airport Lounge and are now recruiting for superb Lounge Assistants! Hours of work are casual 'on an as and when required basis'. This is a 7 day-a- week operation.

You will be responsible for:  

This key role within the lounge is responsible for ensuring our highly engaging service culture is translated into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers. You will be participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele!

Ideal skills and experience:

If you're our ideal candidate, you will:

• Be a born performer, hardworking, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
• Have previous experience working in a front of house position
• Have excellent knowledge of coffee and experience in food preparation
• Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
• Have a basic understanding of Café food preparation.
• Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality.

To be considered for this position you will: 

• be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
• need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
• need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
