The role of a Logistics Manager  comes with a high degree of responsibility and accountability, so we are looking for a business professional with experience in delivery route optimisation, space management, asset management and maintenance compliance whilst maintaining a strong focus on safety. These skills coupled with high levels of leadership, communication skills and professionalism will lead to your success.

Lead and manage a highly competent team

You will be responsible for:

Running a large team based at one of our Regional Distribution Centres

Coordinating and managing all aspects of your section including; recruitment, training, profit and loss responsibilities and ensuring legislative compliance

Coaching and developing a team to ensure employees reach their full potential

Managing resources effectively

Advocating and ensuring safety compliance in all aspects of our Warehouse and Transport operations

Selection Criteria:

Minimum 5 years of business experience, preferably in FMCG

Proven success in leadership roles

Effective communication skills

Previous experience and strong understanding of logistics/transport industry will be highly regarded
