Fun, fit and first class, the Thredbo Leisure Centre is Thredbo’s one-stop shop for fitness. Open year round, the Thredbo Leisure Centre team facilitate guests and team members to reach their fitness goals so they can maximise their shred time on the mountains. As the Leisure Centre Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Leisure Centre team members and all centre facilities, which include, Multiple Indoor Heated Pools, Indoor Sports Hall, Bouldering Wall, Trampoline Facility, Squash Courts and Weights Gym.

If you’re a challenge seeker that can:

• Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Inspire others and build a positive work culture with proven leadership experience
• Show an understanding of WH&S, GSPO’s and public safety applications within your facility
• Demonstrate a knowledge of pool, plant and equipment operations, including the use and handling of chemicals and pool chemistry.
• Provide a seamless sales process for the guest using strong customer service and retail experience
• Work weekends and public holidays, as well as hours outside of regular business hours.

• Fun, young at heart and adventurous
• Great at problem solving and conflict resolution as issues arise
• A decision maker with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Able to demonstrate a strong customer focus to ensure the highest quality of guest experience
• Motivated and passionate about the fitness and aquatic industry.
• Co-operative, positive and has a professional attitude.

Essential Requirements

• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
• Previous leadership experience and/ or appropriate level of training in supervising others

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in pool plant room operations and aquatic facilities
