Job Description

We are looking for an exciting new party host to join our awesome team of entertainers. This role is for a Lego Masters party host who can bring energy to a ‘Lego building competition’ style of party. Some knowledge around Lego, the Lego masters concept and how to build and create things will be of huge benefit. 

Ideally experience around kids would be preferred but not essential but you will need to be comfortable around them, know how to be assertive and more importantly be able to communicate in such a way as to get the most out of them. Hosting parties for kids requires you to think on your feet, be adaptable and obviously really enjoy them. Our job as a host means that we need to be able to manage and comfortably control them and the party environment as a whole.

We ask that you can comfortably converse with the parents as well as this is an important part when hosting children's parties. This adds to the professionalism of the company and overall great experience for the children and the adults so a level of maturity is expected.

We provide all the equipment for this party and a uniform for you. This party is 1.5hrs long with a 10-15min set up time and pack down time on top of this. Payment is $100 per party, paid weekly. This enables time for an intro around the competition element of this party, the design & build time then time to choose winners and hand out certificates.

This is weekend casual work and the hours are varied. The most important aspect here is availability. Please don't apply if you have another weekend job as you can't do both.

Parties are all over Auckland so your own vehicle is a must. You will be required to travel up to a 30km radius for a job but any further than this, you will be compensated for. 

You will be employed as a casual employee with scope to look at other roles that present themselves if this is of interest.
