Job Description

Our client in the public sector is seeking an experienced administrator with knowledge of the Official Information Act for a fixed term contract through to December 2023. A fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that will highlight your existing knowledge and further develop your analytical and planning skills.

About the role

Providing a range of high-level administrative functions to support key internal legal processes. With a focus on ensuring compliance of all statutory and internal policies. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be comfortable with communicating with MP's, the Minister's office and board members. Your key duties will include:

  • End to end processing of Official Information Act requests
  • Coordinating and managing workflow to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Interpreting legislation effectively
  • Managing and investigating complaints
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external reviews

Key skills/ experience required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound analytical, planning and organisational skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • High level attention to detail and initiative
  • Proactive approach to your work
  • Able to prioritise and cope with competing demands
