Crown Law provides legal advice to government and represents the Crown at the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Our lawyers advise and represent government in cases of public and administrative law, Te Tiriti o Waitangi negotiations, constitutional matters and the formation of new laws, or in the conduct of appeals in criminal cases. The range of work is huge, and it’s central to the democratic functions of Aotearoa New Zealand.
MŠte Tūranga | About the Role
Our Legal Personal Assistants (LPAs) are part of a high-performing team supporting lawyers working in these areas. On any day you might be preparing court documents, files and correspondence, completing monthly billing and invoicing, assisting lawyers with upcoming court hearings and meetings, making travel arrangements, or helping with a range of other office administrative support functions.
The role is varied, and you will be the face and first point of contact to all visitors, suppliers and employees - basically you will be the glue that holds this small office together.
