PwC Legal Function Transformation is a strategic cross-functional team of highly skilled legal domain, technology and process consulting experts focused on services for the Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel for our corporate clients. With the goal to help optimize the legal function and move the function from being viewed as a cost center up the value chain, we seek to be a trusted advisor for the strategy and operations that extend throughout the law department. Our mission is to develop disruptive & innovative technologies and products that drive the evolution of how we deliver our services now and in the future. The key technology domains we are currently focused on include Microsoft 365, SharePoint, business process automation, data curation, industrialized analytics, machine learning & AI and scalable delivery platform.

A career in our Legal Function Transformation practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ law departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy legal to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation for legal intake, matter management, basic contract automation, legal document management and increase analytic capabilities through data integration that will enable the legal function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

What you’ll create and do

Experience with or understanding of legal operations management and/or legal consulting in a law firm or an in-house role

Familiarity with the end-to-end contracting process 

Experience with one or more Legaltech products including eBilling, Matter Management, Contract Lifecycle Management 

Understanding of data and analytics and experience with using data visualizations

Excellent client service, coaching and mentoring skills

Effective written and verbal business communication and networking skills

High degree of judgement and independent creative thinking required to solve client issues.

Must be comfortable with complex non-structured problem solving
