Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience of drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial and intellectual property, information technology, and contracts from a legal perspective.
• Experience managing contracts and negotiations.
• Experience working with contract law.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of data protection law and advertising regulations.
• Ability to differentiate between legal and commercial issues and when to escalate.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities at the same time.

As a Legal Contracts Manager, you will drive the success of the Legal team. You will create and improve processes, maintain records, conduct legal research, and coordinate communications across the team. You will work with multiple groups within the legal department, internal clients across Google, and external parties.

In this role, you will draft a variety of commercial agreements, primarily focusing on inbound service agreements and marketing agreements to support Google’s needs. You will also assist with the creation and maintenance of internal legal team knowledge, resources and operational processes across legal teams in Europe, Middle East, and Africa working on commercial, litigation, and regulatory work.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a range of inbound service agreements and marketing agreements and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local law.
• Develop knowledge in a range of Google functional areas and processes and build relationships with business customers.
• Advise business clients and global/regional legal teams on various aspects of english law, legal issues and risks, agreement structures, and company policies.
