Fiordland Lobster Co. Ltd is New Zealand's largest exporter of live lobster, with a reputation for consistently delivering a high quality product to the customer.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Leading Hand to work in our Christchurch factory (located in Rolleston, Izone business area).

Reporting to the Team Leader. This role is a mixture of ensuring compliance and physically working on the production lines. 

Break down of the job:

ï‚· Receiving, grading and carry out export packing of live lobster.

ï‚· Need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required

ï‚· Maintain the facility to a standard that meets Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) requirements for a licenced RMP facility.

ï‚· Maintain records to meet MPI and FLC requirements.

ï‚· Maintain and record water quality parameters at the holding tank system to the standards required by FLC.

ï‚· Other tasks and responsibilities may be delegated as required.

ï‚· Early starts, weekend work + public holidays

Your strong communication and relationship building skills will ensure that staff are supported and coached to meet production targets and requirements, work in a safe manner and continuously engage in improving the operation of the factory.
