The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at our Folkestone Sandgate Hill practice.

The successful candidate will be a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) small animal experience who practices to a very high standard using an evidence based approach.

This role covers 39 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' UK (or UK equivalent) veterinary experience.

Previously known as Anna House Veterinary Clinic, our kind and caring team of vets at Folkestone Sandgate Hill deliver exceptional care in the Kent area.

Medivet Folkestone Sandgate Hill has been awarded a Silver Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic Award from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). This was in recognition of its efforts to create a cat-friendly practice and to reduce the stress suffered by feline patients during a visit.

The team currently consists of a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, a Head Nurse and a Client Care Assistant.
