A bit about the job:
We are recruiting for Lead Solution Architect to join Global Architecture team within Aviva. The Lead Solution Architect is accountable for defining and leading technology direction and delivery on one or more domains within a market or across the Group.
The role holder supports, enhances, and promotes the process and delivery of Architecture across the organisation.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience of turning strategic direction into deliverable E2E solutions that drive IT Architecture forward.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).
Strong technical experience. This maybe broad experience with the ability to apply it across a variety of customer and business scenarios; or strong domain specialisms to maximise the benefit of technology in key areas e.g., Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Pensions.
Financial acumen to support development of business cases and to inform key design decisions.
Ability to anticipate future trends and needs as well as managing current environment.
What you’ll get for this role:
Starting salary from £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
