Description

This is a Lead Architect position at a well-known industrial company based in Vancouver. This company has operations across Canada and the US. They have diverse operations in construction, transportation and even technology consulting services. 

You will be joining their IT infrastructure team as a technical architect and team lead focused on networking and security devices. This includes a wide range of local and wide area networks across their multiple sites across Canada and the US. This role definitely offers a wide scope of responsibility related to networks and security.

In this role, you can be based anywhere in Canada, and you can work comfortably from your home office. 

This is a full-time position that includes a competitive base salary, extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation.

Requirements

[ REQUIREMENTS ]

Here are some of the items that you'll bring to the table for this role: 

[-] You have 10 or more years of experience with multi-site, enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN, Wireless)

[-] You have worked in a distributed environment with both urban and rural locations, requiring different data connections and networking equipment

[-] You are experienced with a wide range of security appliances and devices, including firewalls

[-] Preference will be given to candidates who are currently in Canada with proper working permission to work in Canada
