Looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to oversee the Pre-Kindy room!

The service:

This long day care service in South Bank is 156 places and operates from 7am-6:30pm Mon-Fri. Educators at this service use a holistic and active learning approach in order to provide a high quality standard of education and care for all children aged between birth to school age. At this multi-level four storey service, children are encouraged to cultivate their natural curiosity and explore their surroundings. The educational programs are focused around an inquiry based emergent curriculum with a heavy emphasis on play based theory and holistic learning approaches.

About the Role:

In your role as a Lead Educator at this service, you will be working in the Pre-Kindy room (2.5 - 3 year olds). You will be responsible for implementing and planning an exciting and engaging educational program in accordance with the EYLF guidelines. It is important that as a lead Educator you are able to maintain interpersonal relationships with all families and develop close bonds with all children in order to help them grow as individuals and reach their developmental milestones.

Role Requirements:

• Must hold an ACEQA approved Diploma of Children's services or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator is highly regarded.
• Unlimited Work Rights
• A valid Blue Card, First Aid and CPR
• Second dose of Covid-19 vaccination
