We are looking for Laundry Assistants to work in New Zealand's largest and most sustainable Launders.

We have casual roles with full time hours available, we also can offer great staff permanent roles, so let`s make the most of it together!

Your day to day:

• Assist in sorting linen and clothes for washing, folding and ironing.
• Feed and catch linen in the flat-work ironer.
• Collect and sort dirty linen from the shoot and transfer to laundry for washing.
• Help in timely loading and unloading of machines and assisting in transferring linen and clothes between machines.
• Ensure timely addition of chemicals in proper quantity and maintain proper temperature, pressure and water level.

In return, you will need to:

• The ability to work on a rostered basis with 4 days on and 4 days off.
• Great communication skills
• Previous experience in cleaning/laundry would be an advantage
• It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet for most of your shift, so fitness is important
• Strength - with occasional lifting of items up to 25 kilograms and or pushing/pulling heavy objects
• Able to work alone as well as being a team member

Must have NZ working rights and a Vaccination Pass.
