The opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Knowledge Management Systems Coordinator to join the team. The role will be responsible to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Sydney Metro Knowledge management system and framework under the strategic direction of the Senior Manager, Knowledge Management. The role will coordinate all aspects of business process ensuring that processes adhere to relevant legislative and commercial obligations and to assist effective decision making and knowledge sharing.

The successful applicant will also be involved in the following:

 

Administer the Integrated Management System (IMS) and other knowledge management tools to ensure suitable system development, implementation, maintenance and communication across the organisation

Monitor assurance processes to support system alignment with relevant policy, standards and procedures, and to ensure that our knowledge systems are fit for purpose for large scale complex infrastructure and asset projects, including the capability to identify and manage all risks and to complete performance reporting and incident management investigations

Coordinate (including preparation of) the review and amendment of existing IMS documentation and the development of new documentation, as required, for the continual improvement of the system to achieve quality outcomes

Provide process analysis and documentation services to assist in process improvement initiatives

Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of a repeatable and efficient process and periodical review of knowledge content and processes

Work collaboratively across the business to drive a culture of knowledge sharing and learning by raising awareness, coordinating training for knowledge management systems and evaluate the effectiveness of training provided, making changes as necessary, to ensure training is relevant and effective

Prepare internal and external audit documentation and coordinate schedules for the relevant Working Groups to ensure compliance with business management system requirements

About you

 

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a knowledge management role.  A background in a project environment will be highly regarded. You will be a flexible team player who thrives in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail, being adaptable and a can do approach are essential. You possess excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.

 

Essential requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Business

 

Salary and benefits

 

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 8 ($120,423 - $134,782) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
