£10.57 per hour - 40 hours per week

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 3pm.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Unloading goods.

• Receiving and scanning goods and checking against orders.

• Inspecting for damage - Reporting to Head Chef

• Moving goods around a store.

• Stocking shelves - Rotating Stock to make sure its used in date order

• Stacking bulky goods safely.

• Picking goods from shelves and packing supplies for outlets

• Data entry and paperwork recording on stock received.

• Basic food preparation

• Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen area

• Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors

• Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly

• Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards

• Assist with Floor Cleaning

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Essential Criteria:

• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety.

• Basic knowledge of COSHH.

• Basic knowledge of due diligence self motivated
